The Telos Bible and Theology Conference seeks to cultivate Christian maturation in the greater Jacksonville area through leveraging the teaching resources of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary to provide robust theological training at a low cost. The conference gathers scholars around key topics in the areas of Biblical Studies and Theology. Telos Bible and Theology Conference is for the whole Church: pastors, leaders, and laypeople.
The conference is named after a Greek word (telos), meaning “end,” “consummation,” or “aim,” with a view toward encouraging believers to live today in light of the ultimate victory that has been secured in Christ. Join us as we delight in the great riches of the Scriptures together and rejoice in the gospel of our Triune God.
This year’s conference will take place October 9–10, beginning Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. and concluding Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. While the theme, speakers, and full schedule are still being finalized, we are excited to open early‑bird registration for those who wish to plan ahead to join us for another rich season of teaching, worship through song, and conversation.
As in years past, the Telos Conference will feature:
Exegetical and theological teaching rooted in the authority of Scripture
Engagement with historic Christian doctrine and its significance for the church today
Worship through song, reflection, and thoughtful discussion
A setting intentionally designed for pastors, ministry leaders, students, and laypeople alike
